Yankees' manager Aaron Boone was thrown out by umpire Stu Scheurwater during the 8th inning yesteday after the third low strike of the night was called on Aaron Judge.
Judge leads the league this season with 53 called strikes outside of zone (per Statcast). Many of these missed calls come on pitches below Judge's knees due to his towering 6'7" frame.
The red-hot Yankees went on to win 2-1 against the struggling Oakland A's.
